Steps to make Fish Caldereta:
- Saute' garlic & onion in the butter. Add water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasoning, and fish. Simmer for about a minute then add olives, bell pepper, peanut butter, liver spread.
- Simmer until sauce thicken then add the chili and fresh asparagus. Serve with steam rice.
But since it is rather difficult to come by, I opted to cook it with the more easily available meat…beef. Beef is actually the more preferred meat by many. I made beef caldereta on my daughters bday! everybody loves it. I used Beef brisket because of its grains. Put some fresh pineapple extract and ofcourse shredded cheese.
