Instructions to make Yam porridge:
  1. Peel and cut your yam into medium cubes,wash the yam and place in a pot
  2. Wash and cut the onions and vegetables,blend the pepper and keep aside
  3. Pour enough water to cover the yam and cook on a medium heat,when the yam have got to a boil, add in the onions,pepper and ground crayfish,add in the stock cubes,palm oil and salt to taste.
  4. Stir and cover the pot,continue cooking till the yam is done.
  5. Add the vegetable,stir and leave to simmer for 5 mins.
  6. Serve hot with a protein of your choice
