- Peel, cut and wash yam. Add in little amount of salt and boil till soft.
- In a pan, add in vegetable oil, ginger-garlic paste, onions and minced meat. Fry till meat is no longer red. Add in your pepper mix. Add in seasoning and spices to taste. Add little water. - Mash yam using kitchen masher, mortar and pestle or even your hands to crumbs. Pour the mashed yam into a bowl
- Pour the sauce over the yam and mix properly. You can taste to see if seasoning is okay. Mould into balls then flatten and keep aside
- In a plate pour in bread crumbs, chilli powder and mix. In another bowl, break eggs, add in a pinch of salt and ginger powder and beat.
- Dip yam in eggs first then bread crumbs and then eggs again then finally into hot oil. Fry till golden brown.
