Steps to make Coconut laddoo:
- Put a pan to heat and add in a tbsp of ghee.
- Add milk, sugar and stir quickly.
- Now add in milk powder and start mixing continuously under low flame.
- Within few minutes it will all get mixed up. Mix well and make sure that there are no lumps.
- When it becomes slightly thick, add in coconut powder.
- After few minutes it will come together and becomes a thick and soft mass. It took around 5 minutes approx.
- Add in cardamom powder. Give a quick mix and turn off the stove.
- The dough is warm, take a small portion of dough in the palm and start making ladoos.
- Roll it in the dessicated coconut and keep it in a plate. Finish making all the laddoos.
Depending upon the tine and availability of ingredients you. This coconut rava ladoo is made with fresh coconut. To make coconut rava ladoo, dry roast the semolina. This will remove the raw taste and also if the semolina is not roasted the ladoos will be sticky.
