- In a pan add Fenugreek and fry until golden brown and grind it to a fine powder
- In a kadai add oil,mustard seeds and let it crackle
- Now add the asafoetida
- Add cooked amla and saute it. Add salt and red chilli powder
- Saute until the water from cooked amla completely evapourates - (Do this step carefully, if any water remains, then the pickle will get spoiled easily)
- Now add the ground fenugreek powder - (This is added to cool your body as you eat such a spicy pickle)
- Saute until u get a well blended mixture like this
- The pickle is ready and have it with hot plain rice or curd rice especially during rainy season
